Like Dick Cheney said after the first election fiasco, govern like you have a mandate even though you don't. Or, as Bush took it to mean, and as Cheney probably meant it, to hell with democracy and law - you know what's best for America.
Democrats: Bush needs to be made to pay a price for this appointment.
Rest of World: This man has no credibility and we don't support him. When he gives you crap, ignore him.
