Open thread

I'm timing this open thread 10:30 even though it's really 9:30 on the east coast. I'm heading to brunch with my sister and family who are visiting DC for the long rainy weekend. Joe is off marathoning. So there's always a chance you won't hear from us for the next few hours. Thus the sneaky open thread - shh, don't tell anyone.
