McCain scapegoats top general for Bush's Iraq mess

John McCain to the rescue... of George Bush, again. Who does John McCain think is responsible for the disaster in Iraq? Not George Bush, but rather, our generals on the ground. It's as if Bush is a child, never responsible for anything because, you know, he's kind of young and slow. McCain is digging his political grave here, and it's not clear why. The far-right of the party, the folks who support this war still, hate him because he's hates them. The rest of us, all 70% of us, think this war is a disaster and blame George Bush. So why is McCain triangulating for an audience that doesn't exist? Kind of crazy.
