Wow. The GOP Senators really, really are obstructionists. And, the GOP Senators do not support the troops. The Senate Republicans just successfully filibustered Senator Webb's amendment to support the troops and insure troop readiness by a 41 - 56 margin. Because the GOP opted to filibuster Webb's bill, it needed 60 votes to proceed. Here's the link to a fact sheet explaining the legislation.
Why the GOP chooses to be on the wrong side of this one is bizarre. But, they do what George Bush wants every single time.
