Federal Reserve worried about 'prolonged and severe' recession

Ya don't say. Once again, where are all of the Republicans who voted in this rubbish economy? Amazingly enough, some knuckleheads such as McCain are still calling for "tax cuts and less regulation" despite all of this. The Democrats need to be making a point of this every damned day, ten times a day. This recession is a product of Republican policies. For decades this is what they wanted and they got it. Now we're all paying the price for their failed experiment.
