Democrats let the bailout slip away

And the GOP is pouncing on it. Of course it was the GOP who created the legal framework to let the subprime market take off. Of course it was the GOP who insisted that Wall Street could self regulate. This is a GOP creation yet it's now the GOP who is calling for investigations because a few Senators have special loans with Countrywide. Sure, ignore the $1 trillion problem and focus on the crumbs though considering how badly the Democrats have responded (or not responded) it's no surprise. Democrats continue to sit idle and say nothing about the bailout, let alone how the GOP made this crisis happen. A little backbone here...just a little. Please.
