Okay. Yesterday was a very fun day on the campaign. That is how it should be.
McCain made a HUGE mistake. HUGE.
Everybody jumped on it. Everybody -- the campaign, the DNC, the surrogates, the blogs -- did what they had to do. And, did it well. This line, in today's Washington Post, is a testament:
Obama's campaign and the Democratic National Committee pounced with remarkable speed.Exactly. Great work.
Now, we have to keep it up. Today should be day two of McMansion-gate. When we screw up, the Republicans milk the controversy for a good week, if not the entire campaign. We far too often embrace their screw-ups for a day, then declare victory and move on. We're on a roll here, folks. Keep it up. And let's have 74 more days like yesterday.
