Caroline Kennedy is interested in Hillary's Senate seat

Wow. As a follow-up to Joe's earlier post about this, it seems that it was Kennedy who reached out to the NY Governor about the job.

She was considered a long shot because no one thought she'd be interested. Another Kennedy in the Senate. Or a new Kennedy, should Senator Kennedy step down due to his illness. (Ted Kennedy gave up his seat on Judiciary today, ostensibly to focus on Health Care Reform, but I suspect it's as much about his being ill, unfortunately.) Camelot is the new black.
