It's even worse than previously expected. The proponents of the status quo are already dismissing the benefits of computerized records which of course they dislike because the US is one of the most backwards in the industrialized world in this. Sorry doc but scribbled notes and computer illiteracy is not going to bring benefits to patients. Been there, done that.
The status quo is also going to make a fuss about insurance companies but the last time I checked, insurance companies in France are doing just fine. France has basic national health care plus additional private insurance. The truth won't matter though to Republicans so get ready for the push back.
