Tuesday Morning Open Thread

Good morning.

I missed this little gem from the Sunday shows:

President Obama’s impending reversal of the restrictions on embryonic stem cell research is meant to distract from the economy, House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) suggested Sunday.

“There’s a reason it’s coming up this week,” Cantor said during an appearance on CNN's "State of the Union." “Why are we going and distracting ourselves from the economy? This is job No. 1, let’s focus on what needs to be done.”

First, the Republicans aren't doing anything to help the economy. All they do is say "NO" as ordered by their one true leader, Rush Limbaugh. Second, does Cantor have any sense of compassion? Only a real dick would consider it a distraction to find a cure or give hope. But, then again, Cantor is a Republican member of Congress.
