Last night on Rachel Maddow's show, we learned that the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) invited Lt. Colonel Victor Fehrenbach to attend the exclusise gay A-list White House party on Monday night. Great. I hope the President will talk to Victor Fehrenbach. And, I hope other A-listers will invite more members of the military who have been discharged. Obama needs to see them face-to-face and it's pretty clear no one in this White House is going to invite the discharged servicemembers -- even though Obama regularly invoked these men and women during the campaign.
