Why doesn't Iraq war supporter David Dreier (R-CA) just enlist?

Dreier is the latest expert on how great things are going in Iraq .“Now that we are seeing some progress on the ground in Iraq, the Democrats don’t want to believe it,” said Representative David Dreier, Republican of California. “Democrats should stop fretting and simply focus on supporting, rather than undermining, the strategy finally yielding results.” That sounds great, Congressman Dreier, so why don't you just enlist? Oh, that's right.
